How did you meet your spouse?
We met online over grand final weekend. Because of the public holiday our schedules finally lined up. Since we don’t like footy we were both free to meet.
Tell us about your proposal
Wade booked a surprise bubble retreat. However just before we left we were told our accommodation was damaged from a severe wind storm. So Wade had to scramble for last minute accommodation and a nice beach to propose on.
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I wasn’t sure what I wanted, all I knew was I wanted an A-line gown. I felt very meh with everything I was trying on. I’m not a very emotionally invested person, so I thought that’s just how it was. I went back to put a deposit on a different dress, and my consultant Jas had me try one more first and I knew that was it.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day..
My top highlight was when Wade started sobbing when he saw me. All I wanted was a tear from him so I was ecstatic.
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Don’t sweat the small stuff!
